My Career Tech Center Experience
Being enrolled in the Muskegon Area Career Tech Center has taught me many life lessons that I will take with me into college and eventually into my career. Being in the Graphic Productions class has taught me time management to meet deadlines, discipline and how to be independent.
While being in CTC, Mrs.Bell and Mrs.Hundt taught me time management. When we were given assignment, we were also given a deadline. At first it was challenging for me to use my time wisely. As I progressed I progressed through the year, I began to get better at getting my assignments done on time.
In addition, my instructors also taught me how to have discipline. While working on a few of my projects during the year, I took on a project for my home school which was very tedious and time consuming. Mrs.Hunt helped me through the job. Although she didn't help me, she taught me more by not helping and giving encouraging words and basically just saying "get it done girl". I appreciate her for doing that. I has helped me to just get my things done and not to procrastinate.
Finally, CTC as a whole has taught me how to be independent. CTC has shown me that in college nobody is going to make you go to class or is going to baby you to turn in your assignments. CTC has really put the possibility of a good grade in the hands of me and the other students. They have taught me you get out of something what you put in.
I would like thank Mrs.Bell and Mrs.Hundt for making my time in Graphic productions at Muskegon Area Career Tech Center worth while. And I will never forget the things you both have taught me. I will truly miss you both and the class.
